Drury |

|
| The Drury convention is an artificial bid of 2♣ when partner has opened 1 ♥/♠ in 3 rd or 4 th seat. It shows a sound raise to 3 (or 4) in partner's major and asks him if he has a real opener or not. The modern treatment (reverse Drury) is that opener simply rebids his suit at the two level to show a poor hand and any other bid is constructive. |
| |
Some people also include 2♦ as a Drury bid, with 2♣ showing 3 card support and 2♦ showing 4 card support. This is called two-way reverse Drury. |
